伤 寒 杂 病 论

THE TIMELESS WISDOM

Core Principle:

Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases, is a foundational Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) text written by Zhang Zhongjing around 200–210 A.D..

It established the principles of syndrome differentiation and treatment, focusing on diagnosing diseases and treating miscellaneous internal diseases.

Body major organs:

They are interconnected functional systems that continuously influence one another through the movement of qi, blood, fluids, emotions, and energy balance. In this framework, illness is rarely viewed as a problem of one isolated organ; instead, imbalance in one system gradually affects the others.

Five elements:

This model is used to explain how organs influence each other, how imbalances develop, and how treatment aims to restore systemic harmony rather than focusing on a single isolated organ.
